Downingtown recounts the town's rich history through nearly two hundred historic images, most of which are from the collection of the Downingtown Area Historical Society and from individual members. Bruce Edward Mowday, a Downingtown resident, contributed the text. He is also the author of Coatesville and Along the Brandywine River.
