Beginnings follows the journey of a young black girl named Pumkin, whose writing served as healing and therapy. Despite losing a Mom, her cheerleader, not once but twice, then being raised up by her Dad and her older brother, who were heroes to her, she triumphed over adversity, overcoming anxiety with guidance from a higher source.
