He writes enthusiast-directed model history books, and is involved with many specialist car clubs. His reference books The Cars of American Motors - An Illustrated History and Ford Mustang II & Pinto 1970 to 80, were featured on NBC's business channel CNBC, and PBS' Motor Week, respectively.
