Sanjeev Chopra superannuated as the director of the Lal Bahadur Shastri Academy of Administration, Mussoorie, after serving for thirty-six years in the Indian Administrative Service. He is on the Academic Council of the National Centre for Good Governance and the National Institute of Disaster Management. He is also a columnist for ThePrint and the director of the Valley of Words Literature and Arts Festival.
