The novel travels to the future to see the next world that the character of the nineteenth century or the Englishman of the nineteenth century dreamed of, but it is a very different world from what he expected. The new reality is subject to the monopoly of a few who run the world through private companies and control governance, politics, economy, society, education, health, ideas, resources, and security. They have military power in their hands and subject people to their laws, especially business laws that determine their incomes, expenses, and ways of living. It is a society of work, eating and sleeping, in which a person does not leave the boundaries of this triangle, not because he is unable to leave, but rather he is domesticated to this lifestyle and is robbed of the material capabilities that help him to do so, in order to remain spinning like a mouse on a wheel.
