Sonja Roberts attended Wells College (when it was all women) on the shores of Cayuga Lake, where she majored in Theater and Dance and minored in Creative Writing. She has worked a variety of gigs, from regional theater to magician's assistant at Las Vegas casinos. An empty bank account led her to corporate America, and desperation for a creative outlet led her to writing. She now lives in Maine. House of the Broken Promise is her debut novel.
