Having someone claim that Clay hired Leigh to act like his girlfriend is the last thing he wanted to happen at the engagement party for her ex, but there's no point in wishing they could rewind it all. They started on this path and they had to go forward however they could. This close to the big gala, where he's bound to be announced as head of surgery, he's unsure if he wants to be as married to his career as he once was. Leigh could be his future, couldn't she?
