Sonia D. Hebdon is an Australian Christian writer with a background in journalism and English teaching. Her passion for supporting children on the spectrum comes from her personal experience as a mother of two children with ASD. She focuses on writing for kids with disabilities on relevant topics, ensuring her works are in large print (minimum 16-point font) for easier reading by individuals with ASD, ADHD, Dyslexia, and other reading disorders.With a Liberal Studies degree in Communications and Literary Studies from UWS, Nepean, Sonia has also trained in radio broadcast journalism and ASD awareness at Monash University. She is known for her innovative thinking and has published numerous works on parenting skills and early readers for newly diagnosed autistic children, reassuring them that everything will be okay.Her first book in the Haven Cove Series, Sincerely Yours... Written In The Stars and Inked in Destiny! explores the themes of reality, faith, and self-acceptance in overcoming life's obstacles. Recently, she released book two: The Ink Returns! The Whitlock Inheritance and is currently writing the last book in this series to be released at the end of July 2026. Sonia currently lives in a rural town in Queensland with her husband of 27 years, their two children, and numerous rescue pets.
