After nearly losing his life in an attempt to bring down a huge trafficking organization, Wade finds himself battered and bruised...but also obsessed with one name that has eluded him so far. It is a name that evokes terror and mystery, and has managed to stay hidden until now. Children weep at the sound of the name, and grown men become afraid.
Despite the violence and horrors he has already faced, Wade knows he won't be able to rest until he has taken this final threat down. But the more he discovers about this enigmatic figure, Wade learns that some see this man as something more...as not a man at all, but a monster. But Wade doesn't believe in monsters. He's seen enough to know that the only real monsters are men who believe they are above the law.
So in a last ditch effort to completely dismantle the evils of these men, Wade once again finds himself venturing into the dark woods not too far away from the place where he grew up. And this time he'll have to face not only his own past, but a man thought to be unstoppable and maybe even not of this world.
