Fifteen-year-old Maddie Oakes knew life as a Glitcher kid would be complicated?especially after her mom's promotion to director of Glitcher, headquartered in New Orleans. The agency's task is to safeguard the existence of all magic from ordinary humans. Everything's fine until her mom is detained for questioning and things take a sinister turn, leaving Maddie and her two siblings on their own.
