Gustavo A. García López is a researcher, educator, and apprentice organizer from Puerto Rico, currently at the Centre for Social Studies (CES), University of Coimbra. As part of the Undisciplined Environments Collective, he is editor of Insurgent Ecologies: Between Environmental Struggles and Postcapitalist Transformations. Prakash Kashwan is Associate Professor of Environmental Studies at Brandeis University. He is author of Democracy in the Woods: Environmental Conservation and Social Justice in India, Tanzania, and Mexico and (with Aseem Hasnain) of Decolonizing Environmentalism: Alternative Visions and Practices of Environmental Action. He is editor of Climate Justice in India and serves as an editor of the journal Environmental Politics. Lauren M. MacLean is the Thomas P. O'Neill Jr. Chair of Public Life and Department Chair of Political Science at Northeastern University. She is author of Negotiating Power and Inequality in Ghana: Electricity and Citizenship as Reciprocity; Informal Institutions and Citizenship in Rural Africa: Risk and Reciprocity in Ghana and Côte d'Ivoire; and (with Diana Kapiszewski and Benjamin L. Read) Field Research in Political Science: Practices and Principles. She is also the editor (with Melani Cammett) of The Politics of Non-State Social Welfare.
