James Douglas is a Texas author, inventor, entrepreneur, and small business owner. He is the creator of TX ALL SEASONING, a family-owned business dedicated to bringing bold Texas flavor to kitchens across the country. In addition to operating his business, James is the inventor of a patented retractable cutting board designed to make food preparation more efficient.

Drawing inspiration from his passion for suspense, mystery, and psychological thrillers, James wrote Beneath the Surface: The Hunt for the Midnight Weaver, his debut novel. His goal is to create stories that keep readers guessing until the very last page with unexpected twists, unforgettable characters, and gripping suspense.

When he isn't writing, inventing, or developing new seasoning blends, James enjoys spending time with his family, supporting local businesses and farmers markets throughout North Texas, and pursuing new ideas that inspire creativity and innovation.
