Keen Teens is a unique and free educational theatre program run by the
Drama Desk and Obie Award-winning Keen Company that seeks to improve
the quality of plays written for high school students by commissioning scripts
from highly-regarded playwrights. This collection includes two plays from the
2025 Keen Teens Festival:

flexible casting)
This one-act explores authentic storytelling and theatre kid culture as a high
school theatre program prepares their spring musical.
The Door by Amy E. Witting - (Drama / 12 any gender)
This play written specifically for today's students tells a story of hope under
extraordinary circumstances with magic, hope, and love when a classroom
must face the "new imaginable."
