Zusammenfassung

The gods broke the world. Norman Reed has been left to bury it. The Anti-Respawn League has been beaten back, but victory has come at a brutal cost. Ralk's proto-core has been stolen by Caelith-a corrupted former Celestial Blade-and carried towards the Shattered Coast, where the forgotten powers of the world are beginning to stir. Thalya has returned from death, but she did not return unchanged. With vengeance in her heart and impossible power gathering around her, she intends to discover whether a god can bleed. Unfortunately for the gods, Norman is coming with her. Now the Gravekeeper Prime must leave his cemetery behind and walk into the domain of beings who believe themselves beyond judgement. Armed with Doris-a faithful shovel capable of becoming a reaper's scythe-and accompanied by a collection of bruised heroes with questionable plans, Norman must face ancient Celestials, awakening horrors and the terrifying possibility that some things cannot be properly buried. Norman Reed began with a shovel. Now he may have to dig a grave for a god.

Mark Adams is 43 (so he says) writes fiction that's dark, funny, and occasionally smells like grave dirt. Specialising in fantasy and humour, he crafts stories full of sentient paperwork, malfunctioning resurrection systems, and the kind of dungeons that would give OSHA an aneurysm. He's currently working on Norman Reed (Not Reedus)-a gloriously grim and graphic series following a grumpy gravedigger, his undead sidekick, and the broken respawn system that ruined everything (again). When not knee-deep in plot holes and sarcastic footnotes, Mark can be found arguing with goblins, sharpening metaphors, or misplacing important plot devices in cursed filing cabinets. He believes a thesaurus is a weapon, not a tool, and has no intention of writing anything "normal."
