Steven A. Saltzman is an award-winning music editor, composer, and educator with over thirty years in film and television. A Berklee College of Music graduate and certified Avid Pro Tools instructor, he has authored the field's definitive texts: Music Editing for Film and Television - the only published instructional book on the subject - and The Music of Film, Collaborations & Conversations, which spotlights composers, music editors, supervisors, and picture editors. Steven is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, the Motion Picture Editors Guild, the Society of Composers and Lyricists, and the Motion Picture Sound Editors, where he has served on the board. He also sits on the advisory councils of Los Angeles City College and the Entertainment Industry Professionals Mentoring Alliance.
