G. Larry Mays is Regents Professor Emeritus at New Mexico State University. He has published more than 100 journal articles, practitioner texts, book chapters, and encyclopedia entries. Among the books he has coauthored are America's Courts and the Judicial Process with Laura Woods Fidelie (2017), Introduction to Criminal Justice with L. Thomas Winfree Jr and Leanne Fiftal Alarid (2019), and Making Sense of Criminal Justice with Rick Ruddell (2019). Mays has received numerous awards, including the Carnegie Foundation's Professor of the Year for the State of New Mexico, and he is a life member of the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences. L. Thomas Winfree Jr. is Professor Emeritus in the Department of Criminal Justice at New Mexico State University. Besides teaching tens of thousands of students during his 40-year academic career, Winfree authored or co-authored over 130 refereed articles and book chapters. Moreover, he is the coauthor of two anthologies and multiple editions of eight textbooks, most recently Juvenile Delinquency and Juvenile Justice with Carlos Posados and Saundra D. Trujillo (2025); Essentials of Criminological Theory with Jennifer Wareham and Howard Abadinsky (2026); and Introduction to Criminal Justice: The Essentials with Michael E. Antonio, Christine Tartaro, and Leanne Fiftal Alarid (2027). Michael E. Antonio is a Professor of Criminal Justice at West Chester University in Pennsylvania. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Ursinus College and his Ph.D. in Law, Policy, and Society from Northeastern University. He served as the Lead Research Scientist on the Capital Jury Project with Dr. William J. Bowers from 2001 to 2005. He has had articles published in Behavioral Sciences and the Law, Justice System Journal, Washington & Lee Law Review, Boston University Law Review, Judicature, and others. Antonio is also the coauthor of Jury Duty: An Introduction with Paula Hannaford-Agar (2027) and Criminal Justice: The Essentials with L. Thomas Winfree, Jr., Christine Tartaro, and Leanne Fiftal Alarid (2027).
