SIÂN ROUND is the Leverhulme Early Career Research Fellow at Swansea University. Her research principally concerns the U.S. South, periodicals and print culture, and African American writing. Her work has appeared in Journal of American Studies, Journal of Modern Periodical Studies, and The Routledge Companion to Literature of the U.S. South. She has been awarded fellowships from Yale University, University of Virginia, and Emory University and is the recipient of the Research Society for American Periodicals Article Prize 2024-25. She currently resides in the United Kingdom.
