Abaddon Heart Part I: The Beginning is a supernatural-horror thriller centered on an ancient force of evil living under the identity Robert Heart-Abaddon. The book is publicly identified as horror fiction.
At the center of the story are Abaddon, his son Sebastian Heart, and Diablo, their jet-black Cane Corso. Sebastian is enormously powerful and carries a horrifying history of violence, but he is also trapped under the influence of a father whose true nature reaches far beyond anything human. Diablo is no ordinary dog either-he is intelligent, vicious, supernatural, and deeply connected to the Heart family.
As increasingly brutal and unexplained events erupt, the investigation expands beyond ordinary police. FBI agents, military personnel, investigators, and spiritual forces become involved as they begin to understand that they aren't dealing with a conventional serial killer or criminal organization. They're confronting something ancient and supernatural.
The story mixes serial-killer horror, demonic supernatural terror, police/FBI investigation, military action, biblical elements, locust attacks, supernatural destruction, and the complicated relationship between Abaddon and Sebastian. A major theme is whether Sebastian can ever escape the darkness that created and controlled him-or whether he is destined to become part of it.
Most importantly, Part I is the beginning of a larger Abaddon Heart saga. It introduces the characters and the nature of the threat while steadily expanding the conflict toward something much larger than a single investigation.
