Medieval concepts of space and time are essential elements in the consciousness of the era, which is examined through a number of unique approaches. Furthermore, the book reveals significant beliefs within the supernatural realm, such as miracles and prophetic dreams, without which medieval man would consider his existence unthinkable. The monograph presents the history of dream interpretation, which underwent significant changes in the Middle Ages. The categories characterized by qualitative heterogeneity are contradictory in nature due to the duality of perception, awareness of spiritual and religious considerations, as well as practical realities of everyday life. As a consequence, medieval ideas about time and space in both real and supernatural worlds tend to be emotional and figurative in nature as opposed to rational and cognitive contemporary philosophy.
